Nana appears to have taken a trip to Ireland sometime in the early 1960s, presumably to revisit where she was born. The Aisling House in the picture may be the Aisling House in Mooncoin, County Kilkenny, near Waterford in southeastern Ireland.

Holy card given to Nana in 1907, when she was 17, probably upon her high school graduation. The “Anna” of Sr. Alicia’s inscription indicates her original first name. She’s also listed as “Anna” on her marriage license. Sometime in the following several years she decided to use ‘Ann’ instead.

The next six pictures were taken in 1962, although the occasion isn’t known for certain. Annie thinks it was a confirmation or Paul’s graduation from grade school. The last picture shows him wearing some sort of ribbon and was also taken in 1962.
