Bill’s campaign materials and newspaper articles that Dad kept. The first shows him in 1949 as a newly-elected county supervisor, trying his best to look comfortable in front of a group of small children. He wasn’t successful. The future father of eight got over his uneasiness being around children, his own at least.

The rest are news clippings about Bill’s work on the Board and campaign materials, including the famous O’Donnell emery board. Most are from his first campaign for County Executive in 1976, which he won handily.
